About Us
Optech Diagnostic & Surgical Pty Ltd was established in 1989 in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in the distribuition of specialised optical and microsurgical instrumentation for the medical professions.
Company founder, Jurgen Salwat has over thirty years experience in the medical industry and specialises in the design and service of optical & medical equipment. Co-director, Carey Hazelbank joined Optech in 2003 and brings to the company 20 years of optical experience. Optech are represented by a team of independant distributors in most Australian capital cities.


Location
We are located in the heart of Melbourne's Medical precinct close to the Royal Victorian Eye And Ear, Freemasons, St Vincent's and Mercy Hopsitals in East Melbourne.
